This is the upcoming Jane Eyre film. It's supposed to come out sometime in 2011, I guess. Watch the trailer and answer my one and only question.
Is the music in the trailer as intense as your reading experience with Jane Eyre?
This trailer makes us feel like Jane Eyre is taking us on a thrill ride. I think that's the wrong idea. I love the book, but this movie trailer looks like it could twist the mood of the story.
I only wish it was as intense! This book is crazy! I am getting way too excited talking about it! Woah!
ReplyDeleteI thought the book was pretty good, but the music is way too intense. Granted, after finishing the book and knowing what happens at the end, this comment is going to be a little different from Emma's. The music with the trailer was a bit of a mismatch from the intensity of the book, but I attribute that to the fact that the book took place in the Victorian era. I just can't wrap my mind around the idea that anything THAT exciting would happen during the Victorian age.
ReplyDeleteWell, thats Hollywood for ya. But I suppose if one was to condense the entire Jane Eyre novel into a tow hour movie, the result might be pretty intense. After all, we have viewed several versions of Jane Eyre that are considerably action-packed, especially the version with Orson Wells.
